Relays – circuit breakers are the most reliable devices for disconnecting starting capacitors from the electric motor circuit.
There are 2 types of Circuit breakers: electromechanical and electronic:

Electromechanical relays are cheaper solution, suitable for motors whit not higher activation frequency, otherwise, there is a risk of the terminals sticking.

Electromechanical Cirquit breaker B03-B05

Electronic relays allow a much higher number of switches per minute and are suitable for crane motors.
