NOMEX
Nomex is a trade name of Dupont for paper consisting of polyamide, in the form of fibers and staple fibers. It has good electrical and mechanical properties and stands out against electrical insulators due to its excellent heat resistance.
Nomex paper does not melt and does not burn and is recognized as compatible with the thermal class C - 220ºC.
Nomex paper can withstand temperatures above 300 °C with the only consequence of minimizing electrical and mechanical properties.
UL approved material.
